Inaba Masachika (稲葉正親)
Masachika INABA (1692 - October 10, 1734) was the fourth feudal lord of the Yodo Domain of the Province of Yamashiro. The eighth grand master of the Inaba family with ties to Masanari.
The second son of Harukawa OTAWARA (who was the sixth son of Masakiyo OTAWARA). The lawful wife was the daughter of so-and-so SHIBATA (the adopted daughter of Masanao INABA). His children were: Masayoshi INABA (the first son), Masatomi INABA (the second son), Masaakira INABA (the third son), Masana INABA (the fourth son), Masaharu INABA (the fifth son). His official court ranks were Jugoinoge (Junior Fifth Rank, Lower Grade), Jushiinoge (Junior Forth Rank, Lower Grade), Ecchu no kuni no kami (Governor of Ecchu Province), and Sado no kuni no kami (Governor of Sado Province).
He was born in 1692 in Otawara. He became the adopted heir of Masanao INABA, who was the uncle of Masatomo INABA, the first feudal lord of the Yodo Domain. He took over as the head of the family and the shoryo (territory) of 2,000 koku. During this period, he assumed the positions of Otsukaiban (a person responsible for order and patrol in the battlefield), Kajiba mimawari (person in charge of surveying scene of a fire) and the chief of the bodyguard of the Shogun. In 1730, Masatsune INABA, the former feudal lord of the domain in the head family died young, and Masachika took over as the head of the family. He successively worked in different positions including sojaban (an official in charge of the ceremonies) and Osaka jodai (the keeper of Osaka Castle).
He died on October 10, 1734 in Osaka. Died at the age of 43. His oldest son Masayoshi took over as the family head.
